“During the tenure of PGM Larry Thompson, an idea was born through his example. Brother Chip Ritchie, attended several of his 2022 district meetings and observed the sale of cigars that PGM Thompson was selling as a fundraiser for the MHCO (Masonic Home for Children at Oxford). Br Ritchie, who is not a cigar aficionado, thought of how many more people could be reached if a more household item were used, therefore targeting a larger audience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It was soon thereafter that Br Ritchie thought coffee might reach more masons, masonic families, and just your average coffee connoisseur who might buy coffee to support a good cause like the children of the MHCO. Thus the idea began to percolate. Various local baristas were contacted and none were willing to take a step to help our children or even to help as a short term fundraiser.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But then in 2024, Br Ritchie stumbled upon none other than The Coffee Company in Elizabethton, Tn. After many phone conversations and several in person meetings with the wonderful Ms Frankie Bailey, a Masonic Breakfast Blend coffee blend was born. Ms Bailey has graciously joined us in this adventure to sell this Masonic Blend from her website and ship directly to each person. This fundraising collaboration will last until the end of the year, so please spread the word, support our MCHO with every cup you drink!”<\/p>\n
