Child Care Workers (Available – Ongoing)

This live-in position requires a married couple to work 20 days on duty to provide the daily care of assigned children in their residential cottage. The married couple must have a GED/High School diploma, a valid NC Driver’s License, pass a Background Check with an ability and experience to work with children. Financial Development Coordinator

Available: January 2026

The overall purpose of this job is to assist, cultivate, and foster donor relations by providing administrative support to all development staff. The position also serves administrative duties for the Cobb Center and Museum Archives.

The Financial Development Assistant duties include recording and acknowledging donor gifts, maintaining positive donor relations, maintaining the donor database, and creating and distributing appeals to donors.

Requirements: Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of an associate’s degree in business administration or a related field is required.

Two years of experience in data processing and/or database software are highly preferred.

Must possess experience in Microsoft Office and possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Must pay attention to detail and possess a high degree of accuracy

Must have direct customer service experience or experience that include frequent interaction with the public.

Must hold a valid NC driver’s license.

Director of Development and Communication

Available: January 2026

The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford is dedicated to providing the highest level of care for children in a loving and supportive home environment. The Director of Development and Communication will provide leadership and direction for all aspects of the Financial Development Team at the Home. Led by the vision and mission of MHCO, the Director of Development and Communication will build a comprehensive advancement program to secure the funds necessary to sustain and grow the programs of MHCO.

Requirements: Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Must have at least four years of full-time experience in a financial development environment.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must possess a thorough knowledge of fundraising data software and database management abilities.

Must have excellent organizational skills, project management experience, and have attention to detail.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Must hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel throughout the state of North Carolina.

Administrative Assistant


The purpose of this job is to support the Administrator, Administration and the Board of Directors. In this role, Board and other administrative meetings are recorded, and minutes and other pertinent information are stored. Performs supervision of residents and assists with donors and visitors as needed and serves as a backup to the Receptionist.

The person occupying this position must possess a demonstrated ability to do the job. An associate degree in Business Administration or another related field and at least three years of successful work experience are required. A background check and a valid NC Driver’s license is required.
