Child Care Workers (Available – Ongoing)
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate married couples who want to provide live-in care to youth in a residential program. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their well-being and promoting their growth through daily care, engaging activities, and by operating in a team environment. On and off duty housing is provided. The salary range is per person and based on experience with supplements provided for education. Part Time Museum Director (Available)
Applicants for this position must be able to organize archival records and maintain classification systems to facilitate access to archival materials; research and record the origins and historical significance of archival materials; work with public outreach programs, such as tours, workshops, and other MHCO events for residents, staff, and visiting public; understand archival policy guidelines concerning access and use of materials; and provide assistance in researching materials for users requesting archival materials.
The candidate for this position must possess a bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Library Science, Museum Science, Archaeology, or a related field. It is recommended that the candidate have a knowledge of genealogical/historical research procedures; working knowledge of HIPPA regulations; experience in maintenance and upkeep of historical site; and experience in working and communicating with others. The person must also demonstrate the ability to do the job as well as serve as an Ambassadorial Representative of the agency to the community.
The applicant must have a complete and clear background check, a physical and TB test,
and clear drug screening as outlined in our policies and procedures and per our licensure agreement. A valid North Carolina Driver’s License is required.
