In 1872, by a margin of one vote, The Grand Lodge of North Carolina created Oxford Orphanage. In 1873 we received the first child, which has evolved over 151 years as a safe haven for over 11,000 children; which has been widely supported by North Carolina Freemasons. Our obligations to support distressed Brother Master Masons, their widows, and orphans is never more evident than the unwavering support for the Masonic Home for Children, a great place to be a kid.
